Could someone tell me how I stop getting all these emails telling me that some one has responded to a thread I have started or joined. I'm getting 100 emails every couple of days

 

When you post a message, uncheck the box at the bottom that says "Subscribe to this thread." Hope this helps.

 

When signed in go to your today tab in-between search and help. When there you will see on the left the area to unsubscribe.

Another way is and you must be signed in again is lets say you go to the thread causing the notifications. On your post you will see what appears in the upper right corner, first icon as a folded piece of paper with a red arrow, hit on on that and you will see what you are subscribed to and can unsubscribe there also.

Something else you can to if you don't want to have the notifications at all is when signed in go to your profile page and about half way down you will see this:

Set topics you post to default the "subscribe to thread" option as:

You can set this as "not checked" or "checked" as you wish but the ATV Connection forums recommends checked so you will miss nothing. One last thing when you are on your profile page and you are finished pull the page down and hit, update profile.
