You are incorrect. Our bandwidth is not affected by streaming video Ads. Those Ads stream from the 3rd party Ad agencies and therefore it uses their bandwidth, not ours.

We use special cacheing software, too. Which means most of the images (ads too) are already sitting in the cache on your PC and are not being downloaded over and over again.

Our pages are gzip compressed as well. Which will take a 90K page and reduce its size to about 10K.

The problem is we need more bandwidth. It has been ordered.

 

I could care less about most of the ads, site performs fine for me.

But that intellitext.....omg is that annoying.

 

well i am on dialup and this site isnt slow for me....click a link here and there and the page loads almost instantly....so i dunno whats wrong with ur guys high speed connections but the site is fast for me and always performs well.

 

and your full of poop too. you cant go to yahoo without being slow, i've had dial up for years. been there done that it sucks.

yah that's smart.... and after that there's no site. You can not have your cake and eat it too. The only thing that's free is death and now that's even taxed to death, so a few extra seconds on the down I wouldn't complain about that. If you don't like the ads then don't come here plain and simple; just like I got tired of my bike is better than your bike posts so I left for couple of months and came back and it doesn't bother me anymore. I constantly click on sponsors and look around...
