I currently participate in at least 12 or more discussion forums relating to the various hobbies I enjoy. This is the ONLY site that you have to be a paying member to view ads in this section. I can fully understand the need for having one being a supporting member to post the ad. But to have to pay to view the ad is not a good policy.

The person paying for this feature should have the opportunity to let all who use this forum see their ad. No one in their right mind would pay for the opportunity to view an ad.

The classified Ads on our site are free and anyone who isn't a dealer can place Ads and anyone who wants can view them.

The garage section is for our supporting members. They get extra stuff because they are a supporting member of the forum. If you don't want to support the forums, then don't. But those people who do want to give a little something back to the forum get a hat and access to some extra stuff on the forums. Its a benefit for supporting members.

My guess is you saw some item listed that you're interested in but you can't see who posted it or read the details. The only way you'll be able to read it is to become a supporting member. May not make sense to you, but it works for us.. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
