Hey Guys, Any tips or ideas what may be wrong with our Honda ATV.
We have a 2008 Honda Foreman with the electric shift buttons. This quad shifts well on the up gears all the way to 5th, but the downshift alot of times doesn't go down. Its very intermittent. And then sometimes, when you turn the key off, then back on, it shifts downward and back to neutral. You can hear the shift sound but it doesn't shift alot of the time.
Any ideas from anyone would be appreciated. We're out in the middle of nowhere and along way from a good mechanic. Help!!

 

If it is trying to shift, but doesn't I'd wonder if the change clutch is out of adjustment.
