First time in the Kaw forum in a long time. I don't want to bash or start bashing, but in my own opinion, if the P650 wasn't the fastest, Kawasaki wouldn't sell any.

I have heard you say that "if the P650 wasn't the fastest they wouldn't sell any" far too many times. Yes the P650 is fast...a weapon in fact. But what about the fact that it has the ONLY V-twin in a ute quad(the Only other quad is the V-force) It has more power and tourque than ANY other big bore period. Thus it's awesome accelleration and mud-slinging ability. It also has the best brakes ever put on a quad...ever! The first service is 6000-7000 miles for the rear and it's completeley sealed from the elements (never get wet or freeze up) The front dual hydraulic pistons will stop this machine faster than any other. The bike also has a great on-the-fly diff lock...that is easy to use, it's mechanical (so no electronics to fail) it's variable so you control the amount of lock, and the diff lock is not speed limited as most others are...therefore you get all your power...which in the case of the P650 is QUITE SUBSTANTIAL!!! The machine also has a reverse override so that you can tap into all your power in reverse. The machine also has probably the lowest centre of gravity out there as the V-twin sits low and the gas tank is under the seat...making the machine quite stable. The air box is where the gas tank normaly would be...making this the highest point on the bike except the handle bars. This helps the P650 keep water out of the engine and makes her a great swimmer as a result. The P650 also is widely known as having the best ride of all NON IRS bikes. The digital dash is beautiful and gives you all the info anyone could ask for. The very responsive belt drive is smooth , strong , and reliable. I have yet to hear of a single breakage. If the need ever arose... you can change it in the field in less than 10 minutes with a 10mm socket and screwdriver. Some (belts) are loose from factory but when adjusted properly they will last a LONG time. This machine even measures belt wear when you turn off the key and will let you know when it's time for a replacement. All in all the P650 is awesome...it's got power to spare in a complete package that works awesome and is reliable and tough as nails to boot. I rolled mine completely over and broke off a $10.00 mirror...thats it. It also has the smoothest running engine in all the quad world...NO VIBRATIONS!!! I could go on forever...but you get the picture. Anyone that thinks the P650 is only about speed is DEAD WRONG...it's got it all.

HI GUY'S:
I also forgot to mention...around here the Rincon is selling for $11500.00 plus tax ( Canadian) Thats $13225.00 tax in !!!!!!!!!! The Kawi P650 is selling for $8999.00 plus tax = $10348.00 tax in. Thats a difference of $2887.00...THAT MY FRIENDS IS LAUGHABLE!!!!

Thank you for the kawasaki commercial, did you come up with all that by yourself? or did you get help? well, either way, now that you have practiced it here, why not go try it where someone gives a damn.

lmao. well then, we know who likes their bike now. I would give you my spiel on how much I like my Rincon and give you all of its good points but somebody would **** on my parade so I'll just enjoy it in private. I haven't ridden a Prairie yet, but I have heard nothing about anything else but how fast it is, so it must be true. I'm not being sarcastic there.....maybe some of my buds that I abuse with my Rincon will get tired of getting beat and buy a Kaw to try to give me a run for my money. On a straightaway that is, I don't believe for a second that it will take me on a trail that is rutted and dicey and bounces like Dixie.

Strangely all my buddy could talk about after we went riding is how much faster his Prarie is then my Rincon. The Kawi just smokes my Rincon, but it couldnt hold a candle to me in the mud we rode through. Even though the Rincon didnt have a locker its ground clearance and Idependent suspension made the difference. the Kawi got hung up and couldnt do a thing. The Honda just kept going. He even claimed that i wasnt going through as much as him, so i turned around and went through the holes again, and he tried to match it guess what, hung up, get the tow strap. So even though your Praries may be able to smoke my Honda in races, and in mudding areas where clearance is not an issue, I wouldnt trade my Rincon for for anything.

Ever heard of the Polaris 600 or 700 V-twins?

Yes, it does have great brakes too, but if that V-twin only produced 2/3's the power it does, would have you still bought it?

Just curious.

If the Rubicon did not have the hydro-mechanical trans that it has, I would not have bought it. If Polaris didn't have a nice IRS, I'll bet they wouldn't have sold anywhere near as any Sportsmans as they have. And back to my original comment, if the P650 wasn't the fastest, Kawi wouldn't sell any.

(the Kawi 650 is the only V-Twin sprt/ute (and also the best sounding), the Polaris's are "Parallel Twins")
