HEY
THIS IS AMERICA ISNT IT. YOU HAVE A RIGHT TO OPINIONATE. NO BIGGY.
I SAY THE SAME THING ABOUT A RUBICON. THE ONLY 2 TIMES I WENT WITH A RUBI ALL I CAN SAY IS IT SUCKED,LACKED POWER AND WE ALL GOT SICK OF OULLING IT OUT. THE SAME WENT FOR A 01 ARCTIC CAT. WIXHED THEY WOULD HAVE NEVER SHOWN UP.BUT HEY THE TRAIL IS FOR EVERYONE. IN TWO YEARS ALL OF OUR BIKES WILL BE OBSOLETE WITH ALL THE NEW TECHNOLOGY COMMING OUT

Like the 500i, the rubi does lack the power it should have until its properly broken in. I am sure the 500i will beat a rubi in the mud but if you look at the gc you will know why. Just because your bike is a couple of years old doesn't mean that it's obsolete, I bet the 500i will still be one of the best mudding bikes out there even when it becomes a few years old.

My bike is not two years old.
My bike is a 03 model. The 03 models have pleanty of power. They heads have been shaved and the carb rejeted for the 03 lineup. Not to mention the carb mods i have done to it. I love My cat.would put it up against anthing out there and I have. The only thing giving this Cat a run for its money is the sp7000 polaris. very stout quad. My cat is not the fastest, but who needs to do 65 mph in a mudhole.
I was simply stating a point in earliers reply. Just as you and others have done. And to be be frank i dont give a sh%t what others think of my bike. like i said before i let my cat do the talking!! HEHE

kawirob, I did not mean to start a Kawi bashing post.
A lot of people hate the Rubicon, doesn't bother me in the least. There is not an ATV I would trade ours for, not even a Rincon. I hope you feal the same way about your ATV. This one fits our needs to a tee and untill it starts giving us problems we will keep on riding it. It has treated us so well that when it comes time for a new ATV we will either buy another Rubicon or possibly a Rincon. We also own a Rancher 4X4 ES that has been trouble free (only 600 miles).
I love the Rubicon trans, nothing like it anywhere. I wish my truck had one just like it. I like the mud coverage, I like them being in 4-wd all the time, exspecially on the Rancher for my daughters, I feal it is an added safety feature. The front diff is aggressive enough for us. I have very much so enjoyed the 3000 miles of trouble free riding.
I used to thing the best looking ATV was the 500 HO. Now I think the best looking new ATV is a new lime green Arctic Cat with the chrome wheel and mud tire option. It looks like it will tear up anything and AC's new chrome wheels look great.

specta your right but i think that all arctic cats look good no metter what color it is and for the chrome rim i think they look great but thay cost just as much as the itp rims. and as for the kawi having a nicer ride than the honda rubicon you must be joking i've road both and the honda rides like a caddy compared to the 650p and i know my cat rides better and i have the same size and name brand tires as my freinds 650p and my cat will go everywhere he gos and ferther BECAUSE im a more agressive rider then him. EVERYBODY,S rite the 650p is fast but thats it. well thats just about it. i like the idea of being able to lock up the front end. but its hard on gas its loud the belt squeels when it gets wet. but other then that i guess its ok.

I ride with a Rincon all the time. I have to admit it has a more comfortable ride than the Prairie but that's about it. I run circles around him on the trails and in the mud. Last time we went out, one of the 2-wheel drive Polaris got to close to a pond and got
buried in mud. The Rincon backed up to pull him out and couldn't do it. He could barely get out after the tow strap was unhooked. The Praire pulled the polaris right out. They are both nice bikes. If the prairie wasn't available I would probably have a grizzly.

I think it was someone else who made the comment about the ride, I have never ridden a P650. With all the nice IRS ATV's out there, the Rubicon deffinatly is not know for a smooth ride.

CatKrazy,
I never said your bike two years old, I said a 500i will be mudding with the best in a few years from now even if they are brand new. You did say that almost all of the bikes you ride with could make it through most, if not all of mudholes before but you could do it faster because of ground clearance, I really could care less about points, if you make it, you make it if not then you don't and thats the bottom limne when mudding.
