Default PSI 330/425 or MP 389 Polonda

Well Witz, i know i'm going with a 330 or a 350pv setup for sure. Which im not sure, LRD is very close to me, CT is out of the question.. And ESR i've heard a ton of good things and a few bad.. So far LRD hasn't had any bad reps.. some one told me that their is a newer style pv setup that is a lot better than the older style, is this true? and does LRD run it?

Sm0k3d, LRD is still using the original bellows style powervalve that was taken right off the Rotax engines, commonly referred to as a RAVE valve. CT and ESR are now using a newer style that uses a small aluminum piston instead of a bellows to actuate the valve. I've never used the newer style. I've got 2 LRD PV motors, 350 and 265, and I'm not sure how much the newer style valve would help. Both pull hard from bottom to top and I see no need to update the valve setup on mine until I get beat by one of the newer ones When I see the 310PV run, I'll give an update, though I have no idea when that might be.

eddie is the only man who ports his motors, nobody else. Unlike CT, LRD, duncan...eddie is the only man who touches his cylinders. Incase any of you didnt know that (quality controll i guess). I dont run a powervalve setup, and i havent had a PV motor run particulary close to me, yet.

To answer your question you dont need a stroker if your not serious into racing, whats the point of having the power if your not going to use it. Same with the polonda, why have it if you dont need it.

I was looking at the polonda, not because of power.. but of torque and bottom end.

only reason they have the torque that they do is because dave sets them up with 230lbs of compression

4 stroker? HECK NO! i'm an all out 2 stroke man. =D! i just like having the powerband pull all the way from the bottom to the top, I used to have a 1980 CR80R that had the nastiest powerband i've ever seen.. bored .20 over and ported and it would pull a 200+ guy in a wheelie in every gear when it hit the powerband. I raced a 96 CR125 on a logging trail and i stuck with him all the way intill he reached 6th gear and then he pulled me.
