Default Stock CR80 Speed

Does Anyone know what the speed of a stock CR80 is? and do you think a 1988 Cr80 with a FMF Fatty pipe could beat a 2002 Yamaha Blaster with a FMF Fatty pipe?

i thought you were a blaster master so ask yourself what would be faster 80 or 200 with a pipe. do the math. and a pipe wont make much of a difference.

i have a 1980 cr80 bored .020 over and i can easily beat a blaster, also beat a 96' KX 100, kept up with a 98' Cr 125 intill he hit 5th gear. And can pull wheelies in every gear

I have raced MX in the past, I raced on a YZ80 for 2 years and it would eat any of my 3 quads alive, I don't know top-end but it seemed to never stop and kept pulling. I could crack the throttle in any gear and it would just wheelie or be all over the place trying to get traction. A YZ80 vs a Blaster isn't even a race, yeah I know 80cc vs 200cc but if you have ever rode a 80cc mx bike you know what I mean....
Ndoggie, I didn't think that was to clever.

why the hell would you bore a quad out .60 over?! what happens if your cylinder gets scratched/scartched etc. you cant go any more!

but i had a yz80 and it went about 60, then i bored it .20 over, added FMF pipeS, jetted it, and changed the sprockets and it wenta bout 70ISH ---- a dirtbike is going to waste a quad in the start, if the straight away is long enuff the blaster will come back and bite your Cr in the ***, my little brother has one, and it moves ABOUT 65 --- your Cr prolly gets 60.

I think the Cr80 wood beat the blaster cause my friend has a '03 blaster and a '03 ttr125l w/ k&n filter and the ttr can keep up w/ the blaster
