I have a 96 400 Foreman that I use to mow grass with. My concern is that it may get too hot without my knowing. Does someone make an oil temperature gauge that will let me know when it's too hot? It seems like the fan kicks on at a reasonable interval, but th air that is discharged from the fan isn't real hot. Is there an adjustment for this temperature? I would rather the fan fun all the time, I guess I could put a fan overide switch on it to keep it running? Has any one ever seen that oil temp light come on? Mine only comes on when you turn the key on,until it's running. Then it goes out. Is this normal? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks, Erik

The oil light is suppose to come on when the key is turned for a second so you know the bulb is ok. There is no adj. on switch that turns fan on, it is located on bottom backside center of engine.I would just make sure oil cooler doesn't get plugged with dirt or grass, and follow operators manual for correct wt. and vis. oil.
