Is this a good deal on a Honda Foreman ?? Anything I should watch out for when I go to look at it ?? Anything wrong with that price, are these bikes decent ?? What questions should I be asking him ?? Thanks guys

Also on the 98 ForemanS 4x4 Can I turn the 4 Wheel Drive on and off ?? Or is it full time, What is traxlok ?

 

the 450 is a great quad. a good friend of mine has one. they will not take you through the same rut's as some of the newer models, but chances are that thing will be runnin' 10 yrs. from now. the front diff. is just that, it's an open differential. it's a 3 wheel drive. there are aftermarket lockers avail. though. & yes, you cannot dissengage 4x4. if the hours are under 500 or no more than 1000 mi., than it would be worth more. if i were interested, i would try to stay firm at no more than 3k. things to look for, the 450 is a very basic quad with very little to go wrong. look it over real good. chances are if something's wrong you'll see it!

 

the ride is very rough compared to other quads, i rode on the back of my friends and had a sore butt. but if you dont jump it or go over big jumps you'll have no problem

 

I went and looked at it, I talked him down to 3200, but than looked harder, the exhaust has alot of rust, which means this thing probably saw alot of water, the front brakes were shot to hell, driving it, sounded like there was sand or something where it shouldnt be, and the lights didnt work. I passed....

 

No, drums are not good to take in de water. My t-wolf i had was bad about rusted drums.they are hard to keep up. unless you go on highlifter and get the discs.
