All in know is that i would rather ride a raptor than a z400. they both suck. The raptor has almost twice the motor a 400ex has but it doesn't look that way in a race. the raptor has a stock 400ex on the top end, but it can't go in circles as fast as a 400ex without rolling. The z's are horribly made. Weak axles, weak clutches, weak name, c'mon Suzuki. I am not impressed at all with those two bikes. "Real Men Ride Red" nuff said.

I ride with 3 EX's and 2 Rappys , its a back and forth battle , I have them all in the whoops , EX's got me in cornering , Rappy has me on long
5th gear straights with lite whoops.
Out of the box EX has over the Z is liability . Everything else is rider preference

I'll be damn if i'm gonna have someone put me down for buying what I wanted, I earn every bit of the money that I paid for it, by god I deserve to buy whatever the hell I want, and it doesnt matter what the hell you have to say about it.
this thing has been the best damn quad I have ever owned, but just because you now feel bad because you bought a 400ex and it's not as good as the z400, you gotta put other people down for it.
