Will a 300EX crank work in a 250X case?Will I need the 300EX ballace shaft or are they the same?Anyone have any info.Thanks in anvance!!

 

The 300ex crank has different flywheel to make room for the starter clutch. It also has a longer stroke so you would have to use a 300ex rod and piston . I think you could get away with the same balancer but I am not sure. Did your bearings go out? If they did be sure the right case cover seal that feeds the crank is not damaged.
