I stripped the threads in the oil level check hole of the front gear case on my 1996 300 4x4. Is there a self tapping bolt I could insert to rethread the hole? It would be a bear to remove the gear case cover and re tap it, trying to avoid that job if possible.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img]

 

how big of a bolt is it

 

The bolt head is 8mm so the bolt itself would probably be about 6mm.
