Have you given any thought to two+one or two+two arms? Two out, one or two forward.

From what I understand, the +1 foward is for the older (86-87) 250R's with the longer steel swingarm, it sets the weight bias more like the newer (88-89) 250R without changing out the swingarm.

The 400EX's swingarm is the same length as the newer 250R's and I didn't think +1 forward was available for it....

You can get the +1" forward on just about any quad. I have +2"+1" Lone Star a-arms on my 300ex.It helps stability in turns for racing. My a-arms cost $699. but it is worth it.

I have Burgard a-arms and for the price, they seem great. I also have Works shocks...total was $950(I think)..I don't race though, so I don't know how well they do there.

I was told by wayne (the owner of PEP) not to go +1 forward on a 400ex. If you go longer anywhere go with a +1 1/4 swingarm that makes the quad more balanced front to rear. You only have to put 2 links in the chain and can use the stock brake line it's long enough.

Is it me, Or is the wait time getting out of hand for this stuff?

Custom Axis shocks= 8-weeks away, Wrong time of year to shop for this stuff.

Anybody Seen any good deals at the tracks?

Also, Having stood a stock 86r and a stock ex on their tails side by side. The 86 wheel spread is an inch taller. Hmmmmm..... Gabe I believe you are correct. Then an 86 with +1 arms would be two inches taller (one front,,One rear).
I don't know about you guys ... But I'm going one inch forward and two out for this year.
If I had the quid I would do the swing arm [Pluse one or two,,can't decide],,,,Next year?

Got to get to that next level...Again! Any faster on stock, I'm gona crash.
Stick like a tick!
