"What about when it's load up time and your buds wanna drag a little out in the open? Then it gets embarrassing..."

Embarrassing?? excuse me.. how much hp stock does the banshee make with 2 cylinders, oh im sorry... that gets embarrassing.

Get the EX, you wont regret.. if you ever want to upgrade go check out www.sparksracing.com, I've seen sparks 465ex's that flat out SMOKE built banshee's, 250r's, DS's, raptors, etc.. those bikes are FAST! and that isnt a joke. If i was you i would get a 416 national or 440 kit.. those would straight up haul and would be awesome for sand, mx, or woods. Banshee's aren't as great as they seem.. say you melt one piston, you have to replace both. Same with con. rods, etc.. and every thing cost twice as much.. And they also have like no bottom end at all, its always in the powerband.

Good luck with the ex and I think you made a good choice. I don't think you'll get bored with the power for a while. Don't race to many raptors if you're stock cause then you might want something with more power.

I'm sorry folks, but I must be getting old! When I was looking to buy I test rode a 400ex and that baby SCOOTS!!!................The front end comes up easy without trying and for trail running I can't believe anyone would call it slow. Now, you speed demons that what bragging rights for having a higher top end on the dunes may be a different story but wanting more power than the 400ex can deliver on the trails is purely overkill, IMO. I always favored Hondas but I would have to go with the Z400 but only cause it has reverse which is important for trail riding.

buy a used EX and put a grand into it. if you do it right you should be fast as hell. just tonight i beat my friends banshee on dirt and on pavement. actually we were pretty even on the pavement. it was upto the holeshot. oh by the way he has toomy pipes and aftermarket pistons. about 2 weeks ago i beat a piped raptor. all of this out of a slow 400EX. deffinatley get the ex.

RaptorJay, calm down buddy... I didnt mean it to be offensive to anyone. What i was trying to point out is that Honda had a bunch of recalls and they supposedly spent "9 years" R&Ding the ski. I think they would have had ALL the kinks out in 9 years. Yes, Honda makes a 100% great machine, and i have ridden one. But your trying to tell me that my 2 Sea-Doo's arent quality? They are the most innovative machines out there man, get real. Im not ******* Honda at all on this, but i would think after "9 years" they wouldnt have ANY recalls. And, please, dont act like you know alot more knowledge then me, because for my age, i know just as much as you, if you didnt mean to offend me that way, im sorry, but it seems like you have.
