Default Web 463/9i and rideability?

A buddy of mine is currently revamping his 440 and want's to go with a bigger cam than the 450/451 that he's currently running. He's stepping up to 13:1 compression, oversize valves, and an alcohol conversion. We mostly dune and hill race. Does anyone have any experience with the Web 463/9i grind? How's the rideability and powerband?

I've got a 463/9i in my 465 and with this cam I found that it loves high RPM's. You will have to harden the rockers, shorter valve guides and heavier springs. I've got about 20 hrs. on my motor and so far no problems with the cam.

Thank's for the reply. He's putting in the Web spring kit and having the rockers hardened as well. How's the overall rideability? Does it have any bottom end, or does it only pull from the mid and top?
