250ex, z250, or blaster?

Z250 all the way!
They look better with their aggressive fenders and large V shaped headlight, they are faster, have more spring travel, higher ground clearance, and are the same price as the 250EX. You can start it in any gear, it has an adjustable rear shock for different riding needs, and adjustable shifter, underseat watertight storage area, and Suzuki is also known for reliability.
If you get an outdated 250EX you will be highly miserable when someone pulls up next to you on an awesome looking Z250. Trust me cuz my friend Kristie got her 250EX just before I got my Z250, she now wishes she got the Z250.
Get the Blaster if you want a 2stroke with clutch and want to upgrade it and fool with maintenance on a chain. They are very small though and you would probably outgrow it very fast.
I ride very rough rugged terrain and lots of rocks, mud and close trees. This quad does awesome and I have no complaints and would not change a thing about mine!

I ride a "hopped up" blaster and I am 16....Only problem is I am basically hanging on for my life when the thing hits the powerband cause it is uncomfortable to sit on....The thing hauls though kills my friend julia's 265ex by a distants that is unmeasurable....

I have a 250EX. It is a great little trail machine with good hill climbing ability but...It is small and it rides poorly. The Z250 is bigger , has more and better suspension, and more ground clearance. The Blaster is cheaper and faster but still smaller than the Z, it also has low ground clearance. Ease of maintenance goes to the EX or Z, you can't beat a shaft driven 4 stroke for low maintenance. If I was going to buy one of the 3, I would get the Z. I do a lot of trail riding in places with plenty of rocks and mud where good suspension and ground clearance rule. I am a very experienced rider but I ride with guys on utility machines so top speed isn't an issue. I have found myself very satisfied riding my Boss because it is comfortable for long, all day rides but it isn't as fun as the EX, it doesn't wheelie or fly as well. If you ride with guys on sport machines get something that can keep up or you won't be having fun. If you ride by yourself put mud tires on the Z and have a blast. You will enjoy whichever you get. Don't let anyone make you feel bad about your choice, get what is right for you.

I can get the Trail Boss to wheelie. It is just a much more labor intensive process. The 250 EX comes up whenever I want it to. But my son usually rides the Honda because I want the comfort of the Boss. He has outgrown it now, he's about 6'. I need to get a new machine to replace it. I agree that the 250EX isn't all that reliable. I have had less problems with the Boss than it. If you take away chain and sprocket related issues the Boss has been more reliable by far.
