Default 250ex, z250, or blaster?

i am 16 and im getting my first atv. ive narrowed it down to these three but im open to suggestions. im 5 foot 10 need one that is fast not expensive and can climb hills and ride trails. Like i said this is my first quad so it has to be low maintenance and durable. THANKS

If u want low maintance and durability forget the blaster, and the z250 seeing as how its barely in its first year of production. Go with the 250ex virtually no maintance is required (except for oil change, spark plug, and air filter). Other people are gonna tell u to get the z250 cause its 'faster' or whatever but are u going to be able to afford this 'faster' bike not knowing if its reliable? also i noticed the shocks on the z250 and they look really small like if they have 3inches of travel. hope this helps

Go with the Blaster i had 2001 and it was a kick, after you get used to riding, you can add some serious aftermarket Giddy ups, Get rid of the oil injection, add a pipe, Toomey are the best, and an aircleaner and re jet and you will kick *** all over 250ex and the z 250 plus the pull of a 2 stroke is just plain fun, and the 2003 blaster finally has brakes, front and rear hydralics,so with the new found speed you can finally stop,on down the road a 240 kit by Vito will get that blaster kicking some serious tail, a web site you might try is Trengaracing.com they claim to have some 35-40 hp mods, they race the things so they can help with anything, hope this helps another thing they are easy to work on, wheelie real well, jump ok, you will want to change the rear tires to something like holeshots off set rims to add a inch of width, mine would do 60 miles an hour top end that was clocked by my brother driving beside me,of coarse i would not recommend going that fast the front end gets a little light, they are a great introduction to the great sport of ATV's, Late

the 250ex isnt the fastes but it is the most reliable. Wheelies are easier then the z250. The blasters good my friend has one his is faster but hwen it comes to really big Sand dunes the 250ex catches up. go with whatever u want test drive them all at the dealer.

you should go with the 250ex or z250,because the blaster might be a little small for you, well there all a little small. It's your choice the blaster is fastest, but if you want low maintenence go with the 250ex.
