hutchies: yes, my lid is off, and I screwed it all the way before unscrewing it.
When I opened the carb, i noticed how exactly the needle was working when I was pushing the throttle. The needle is not moving unless you push it more than 1/8, and The problem can occur betwen 0 and 1/8... My new guess would be the pilot, but i went from 38 to 42 all with same results...

Yes, there is an idle screw which is changing idle speed... do you think i should play with it?

what i would do is get three new spark plugs. i would then go put one in and ride at 1/8 throttle or less for several minutes. check the plug color. then go do the same thing for 1/2 throttle. then do the same thing but at full throttle. i have a feeling your main is way too rich. are you running the pro meg headers? i would think you would need like a 158 main but that is just a guess compared to my curtis sparks pipe and jetting.

Too me it sounds like your needle is set too rich or the fuel/ air mixture screw is too rich. I just doubt it would be the main since the main controls 3/8 throttle and up. The first thing i would lean out the air/ fuel screw, make sure your air filter is clean too.
