Do you think that these would be good front shocks to put on a 300ex?

Works are excellent shocks, but unless you plan on racing you really only need dual rates. When I get new shocks I am going to get double rates for two reasons. 1 they are less expensive than triple rates and 2 I don't need any thing better than the double rates.

You can't really get triples for a 300ex. I have a friend who had Last rebel make some for his 300ex. Works had to remake them with a lot of resistance. They said there is not enough shock travel for a 300ex. Good luck, but the duals are fine.

Actually you can order them from www.shocconnection.com. They are $339 w/o rezzy's.

I disagree..unless you are a hardcore mx racer, stick with the triple rates w/o rezzy..most people would be tired out before the benefit of rezzies comes into affect (keeping the oil cool) and the triple rate spring is worth it..

Or spend a little more money and get TCS's, they will ride smoother than stock and take the hard hits better as well.... Mine are setup for the +2 control arms that I don't have yet and still ride far better than stock. The difference is amazing.
