Sorry everyone, but I have to gloat! I normally ride with 2 dirtbike guys, 1 has a new xr650r, the other a wr400. Obviously these bikes are much faster than my 4-wheeler, but after riding with them for a while I've learned how to keep up. The other day I rode with 3 400ex's, 2 Banshee's, and a very nice 250r...Before me and my 2 dirtbiker friends took off, these 6 atv "experts" sat there telling me how my slightly modified 300ex was a pile of ****. I spanked them so hard on the trails, climbing sand hills and doing the poor-mans tabletop jumps(driveways approach's), that when we were done riding, they didn't even stop to talk....All-in-all, it doesn't matter much what we ride. I bet they won't be bad mouthing me for a while...lol.

00 400ex

 

I have a picture of me beating every 250r and even a DS650 in the holeshot at round 1 of the AMA District 23 HareScramble series. Only 2 Banshee's and a 440EX beat me too the first turn. Not bad for a "little" 300EX.

Don't let anyone rip on your ride. Just let your ability blow them away.

I ride with 2 guys that have 300EX's. Those things are tougher to beat than you'd think !

 

Don't ya just hate it when big mouths run off on how the smaller quads suck. Nice to see them insert their foot in their mouth after getting whupped though!

My first ride was a Warrior. About 6 years before that I rode a Big Red. So on my first ride on the new quad I went by myself to a local riding area just to get accustomed to the new machine. When I got there I met a guy on a modded (pipe and K&N) wolverine. I said "Hi!" and the first words out of his mouth was "My Wolverine can easily whip your Warrior!" Some people should just shut up and ride! He was eating dust all day, didn't take long to take to get used to the Warrior!

yea thats what I like about my 300ex...... I'm the under dog....everybody thinks that its slow cause they can out run me on the road but once we hit the trails or track they see............later

 

I completely agree! I also have a side to the story. I ride with a bunch of 4x4 machines they all say I'll get stuck all the time and slow them down! ok I do get stuck easier than them, but when I get stuck I can lift mine out or push it. They have to get the tow strap or the winch and take 15 min. pulling one out! While this is happening I am kicking back and relaxing because I have been through for 10 min already! I would like to know who is slowing who down?

 

Hey taater get some whooly copies and you can go thru most any mud pretty easy with the 300EX and still be adle to handle good , they also last a long time, i have had mine for 4 years with no complaints.
