dg 300ex, maybe your fuel line froze, but i should not of unless you got water in your gas. Try some dry gas maybe to see if that helps. Hope it works for you.

I have a 2000 300ex and today I went out gonig to ride and it wouldn't idle not that it ever does and it make me so mad when it does this, What I do is when mine won't start I Hold it about half to quarter throttle and hold down the starter till it starts, about 5 seconds or so. Hope this help!

We had a similar problem on a sportsman 400 last weekend. We found that the gas line to the carb would barely drip out fuel. Spent an hour trying to figure it out because it had strong spark. It would fire a little and then shut off because it ran out of fuel. Not wanting to cancel or delay our ride any longer we took (believe it or not) handwarmers (that heat up when you open them up) put them on the bottom of the tank and thawed the line. Then we drove it to the gas station and dumped a bottle of isoheet in it. It ran fine the rest of the day.
