Honda 450ES or Polaris Magnum 500

I feel pretty safe in saying that I ride my Scrambler harder than any utility quads get ridden, and the only thing I've ever had to do to it was replace the tie-rod ends. Its always somebody on a different brand that knows someone who knows someone who's dad's brother's Polaris was a piece of junk and stayed in the shop all the time. Of the 3 Polaris' in my family, the worst thing that has happened was a broken chain.

Looks like another "Mines better then yours" topic again. But that seem to be the norm around this place.
What you need to do is get all the FACTS. Not peoples opinions. You know what they say about opinions. Once you have all the facts, go down to your dealers, and ride each machine. Pick the one you want. Because in the end it matters what you like, not what others like. I know I would hate riding a machine I did not like, but bought because other said it was better. Its your *** sitting in the seat, not theirs.

This one is more of a "my price is beter than your price".Yamaha has it right they make two 400 utilities the Kodiak with 2wd and 4wd switch, liguid cooled motor, Yamaha also make a 400 Big bear with full time 4wd and a air cooled motor. The price of the Big bear is lower not the same as a Kodiak.

I never once said Polaris was the best. Put the Traxter AWD on the DS650 and I'd sell my Scrambler in a minute. I'm just telling about my experiences and replying to people who don't even own a Polaris but know everything that's wrong with them. It amazes me how these stories keep getting passed around. I guess all it takes is a few whiners like you to get rumors started among the gullible.
