415 stroker from powroll
#1
took it out for the first ride this weekend, have to say it worked just like pam said it would. it was real fast, or should i say raptor fast, and a less than great predator rider lost to it, but that was with my son on it, he weighs less than a 100 pounds, i would highly recommend this set up for dune riding found jetting to be very important, think we could still go down a little and get more power. it was real smooth and amazingly good in stock frame. this was without any head mods or cams or carb. just a high comp piston and the stroke. well for those that are looking for mods look at this one we were very happy and some other quads were rather unhappy, it did lose to a 727 raptor by 3 quads i was very pleased.

Mine was getting stroked at the same time as yours. We are in about the same climate so I was wondering what you are running in your carb, so I can atleast get a starting range. Thanx

well we ran a 172.5 at first since we had a carb problem, but it slowed it down way to much, so when we went back we went to a 160, and it ran nice it might be faster with a 157.5 anyways you should be pretty happy have you got yours together yet, if not and you run into any trouble let me know.

It has ran for about 40 minutes. Going to bolt the tank on and ride the nieghborhood in a while, too hot still. I have a dyno-jet 170 and that seems a little fat. I did get ported and cammed though. It has an E- series pipe with nine plates and sounds like it is gona blow the muffler to pieces. Needs to install more plates.

well i would guess you are going to be happy, i left that stuff out because the pilot is only 10 and i thought it might be to much, well it is so smooth that i could have done more, i guess i can get bigger valves and some porting when i do the cams and carb, pam said it would change as much as the piston and stroke did. so maybe next spring
