Your motor may have made 12 hp but i doubt it put that to the ground. A stock blaster prolly does have around 19 hp but puts about 12 to the ground.

 

A 250X, not ex, will smoke a blaster. I see it all the time. My buddy has a ragged aout stock 250X and he outruns a blaster with pipes on it! I have the video to prove it. The blaster lost its owner $ dollars. Do yourself a favor and get the 250X. Roosthrower...I'll run your blaster any day!

 

You guys are forgetting the honda trx200x . Ill bet none of you even know Honda made them. I think it would have been the closest thing to a stock blaster.It was 200cc 4 stroke 6 speed tranny .

 

OK mister G dog force,I think most people in here will agree that the blaster will beat a 250x in a drag race and piped it will make it eat its dust...Now in a race around a track i still think the blaster will win with equal riders but it wood be closer

 

haha, don't take it so personal peltrax. i don't have anything against blasters. i have driven one and liked it, but the 250x is better.

 

i bet with all those mods you got on your 250x i could still take you

 

The only thing I never liked about the blaster is the cable brakes. Which they just fixed although 15 years too late but at least they did something to improve it. They are both nice begginer quads though.

 

a blaster with a complete 240 kit would slay the most highly modded 250x or 300ex of all time. I wanna see a 250x get over 65 mph.

 

a blaster is faster in a drag race. when i had my blaster and it was stock i was even till top speed with a piped and filtered 300ex. idk about around a track though

 

How would this be closer to the Blaster than the 250x?
