the bore has nothing to do with race gas, so it could be bored to 93 and you could still run pump gas, now raise the compresion up into the 11 plus area and you will be seeing some race gas. compression not bore[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] then ask about rev light weight piston revs faster than a heavier piston

for the 10th time, I DON'T WANT TO RUN RACE GAS, but it smells good
I really don't think you are getting it. As Sandman already pointed out the bore is not the deciding factor on running race gas. The bottom line is a larger displacement with everything else even..porting, cams, compression, carb, ect...will be faster. We are only trying to help you out and you are responding with CAPS.....nice.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif[/img]

Last Sat night 1st time at the strip ran 5.516 in 300' sand. Never raced another 465 but I think mine is on the mild side.
