4wd SUCKS!
#1
I have been a hardcore honda lover for a long time now and i am always assamed of honda's crappy 3wd system because you can't really call it 4wd because it isn't
I hate polaris but i have to admit they sure know how to put together a 4wd machine (other than the polaris part and the auto tranny)
anyway i know that i was riding with a 450es and on my 300ex on crappy worn out tires i could climb alot of hills that he would have a hard time with
but a magnum 500 was with us and we both couldn't compare to it (in the snow)
the 450es is better in deep snow but i don't think it is worth what you pay the polarises allthought they are not bulletproof like the hondas they can out to out run and go through alot more ****
Please feel free to tell me that i am wrong or if you have fixed the 4wd system ( and you still have the abilty to steer normally)

You have a lot of extras but no locker. It is truly a neet add on. I have heard alot of complaining about steering and how hard. I think if you would ask anyone that has added to there quad to go back to the limited slip frount i would expect a fight would brake out. Any other question email me.

well dg300ex, i would beg to differ when you are talking about going up hills. YOu say you will go up more hills with your EX than a foreman, i think not. this weekend i was riding with some guys and we were on some trials. we came to a steep long culvert that was washed out by the flood. I was the first one up, i have fresh new stock tires on my 250X. I made it up easily, but since the trail was snow covered i opened it up to some ice underneath. next was a guy on a 300EX, he had worn down tires, big time. He got half way up the winding culvert and started to spin. so he backed down. Then a guy on a 300 4x4 tried, he put it in second and went up it with out a hitch. so he backed went down the culvert, got out his tow rope and hooked it up to the 300EX, up they went, had a little spinning going on, but the 4x4 pulled them up.
also, if you havent noticed, one thing you can do to improve the 4x4 system on your honda 4x4 is simply when going up a hill or anything, just hold the front brake for a spilt second, this will help the tire that is not spinning engage, giving you more traction.
