Default reving rubicon

Ok, mabey my mind? mabey somthing wrong like a speed sensor?? I dont know, so im asking for rubicon owners ideas.

It seems to me as of lately my RUBICON revs much hire before shifting? (its not slipping) seems that the shifting pattern has changed? is this possible. and if it has how can I fix it. When im doing 14 to 20 mph it revs out pretty good. mabey im just hearing things, and worrying? then again I was wondering of a speed sensor or something could be not working correctly? any thoughts would be welcome.

I am not 100% positive, but I would think if the speed sensor was having a problem it would cause the ATV to go into it's default mode and you instrment cluster would show just two dashes. Then you would have to shut it off and restart it to get it back o normal. Does it do it in both D1 and D2?

If I am not mistaken the Tranny on the Rubiconn relies on the pressure of the oil to to produce it's power. Hence absolutely ensuring the oil level is just perfect is very important. As the oil breakdowns I have noticed a difference in Power in my Dad's Rubiconn. When we change the oil we notice (or at least it feels like) the bike runs stronger.

The long chain molecules in the oil shear and your oil gets thinner over time.
