The feds need to crack down on atv training coarses. anyone under 16 should have to take a course regardless of experience. In Utah they give the "graduates" a decal that go's on their helmets. Any person under 16 should be sited along with their idiotic parents that let them ride without the proper training.

Here's one report. Although this is not the one I was thinking of.
Here's a http://www.cpsc.gov/library/foia/foi...fing.html]link to many others. Some here are like the ones I was talking about, but I didn't actually find the one I wanted.

I agree with u to a point but that doesn't tell me how the snowmobile industry gets away with it. I mean how much easier can it get then press the gas and go yet i still see 800cc monsters that will easily do over 100 mph and people are even freindly to most of the riders. Can u believe that and yet here we are with like was said our 28H.P. "high-performance" machines. Don't get me wrong love my 400ex but I sure do get jealous when I see what options some industries have compared to ours when it seems as though accident ratios would be the same and the ease of operation for all ages would be equal too. I don't want any industry to have to face what we do because of this however I would like for my money to be able to be spent on a machine that could REALLY move out right out of the crate without all those expensive engine mods and voided manufacturer warranties
