Default Fuel Question?

i have a foreman 400 and it seems when my fuel gets down to about a quarter of a tank it starts to run
like crap, and i have to switch to reserve. After that it runs fine again, is this normal????????

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

maybe your guage is not working correctly. how many miles do you get out of the tank before you have to switch to reserve? am sure if you provide that, the other foreman 400 guys can confirm you are at least getting the right distance out of your tank.

Default Fuel Question?

I got 50kilometers then i switched to reserve. I was driving average 25km/h on flat logging roads, some hills but nothing major. I looked in the tank seemed to have a fair amount of gas left, just thought it was strange i had to switch to res. so early.

Thanks for your reply.

i am only guessing, but that 50k is like 30 miles. that seems pretty early to be hitting reserve. you may have some other issue going on there.
