Rubicon front shaft
#1
Has anyone changed out their shaft so that you can lock in and out of 4-wheel drive? My local dealer has one made by Warn for $309...... just a tad expensive. I thought I once seen one on a net sight once for around $100...... Anyone seen it?

yes warn 424 is around $250 shipped.
do a search on this forum for warn 424 , you will find lots of info.
in my oppinion it is worth every penny, every rubicon should have 2 or 4 wheel drive select option.
the rubi will steer much easier.

A friend of mine has the 424 setup, tried it out last Sunday, it was great. Got clear down in the mud, stuck it in 4 wheel and padled my way out. Good response in the woods. Called my local dealer, 289.00 one place and 319.00 at the other. Be a good project for this winter.
