Rincon Carb Mods?
#1
so I was tinkering tonight... I noticed a small stumble in the rincon right off idle if you hammer the throttle. Verified it was a lean condition by removing the airbox lid and making it worse.
So, I check the pilot screw.. it's at about 2.5. I give her one more full turn out. Wow.. it helped. So then I decided to check the needle. I shimmed it with a washer and put it back. Nice... but I know there is more in there.
That spring on the slide is HUGE!! anyone try clipping about 10 wraps of it for better throttle response?
Just wondering what types of carb mods people are doing. I'd love to throw a bigger pilot it.. I'm sure it would help the stumble a lot.
Also, when taking out the needle, 2 washers came out.. I didn't get to see where they were.... Can't find microfiche.. just put them on the bottom as I don't see how you could make them stay in on top.
