who is the company that makes this z/kfx 400 quad?

what is better, the 400ex honda, the z/kfx 400 w/reverse or the raptor 660 with reverse and liquid cooling?

i want a scale of 1-10 on all three of them from a rider that has riden one of them or owns one

he is talking about the z400 by suzuki and the kfx by kawasaki. they are both the exact same bike with different names on the side and different colors. the honda is slowest, the raptor is fastest. durability would probally go to the honda. i think all are decent bikes. honda doesn't have liquid cooling while the others all do. i guess it just depends on how fast you want it to be. since your asking this in the honda forum, we have to say that the honda is your best bet. lol

 

I'm thinkin about getting one too. Probably for some MX track riding but mostly just for playing around in the yard and trailriding. To all the 400ex trailriders out there: can you really get by without reverse that easily?

 

ok now i'm confused!!!!!,,,,,honda, yeah dude honda is not slow, maybe to some they are but they aren't, by slow what do you mean? the 400ex i hear is NOT slow

Well it'll go about 65 MPH bone stock and almoast hang with a Z400. Not that slow.

 

to me, in the stock form after you get use to them they are not all that quick. if you are comparing it to a utility, they may be slow. i was talking about the z400, kfx400, and raptor like you asked. the honda is the slowest of these 4 bikes. it will hang with the kfx and z400, but still not as quick. once they get moving, the 400ex doesn't have a chance with a raptor in a drag. on a honda crotch rocket, my 400ex was clocked at exactly 75 mph. i have a x-6 exhaust system, no airbox lid, and jets. my friend on his 400ex was clocked at exactly 70 mph with an f150. i can beat this kid easliy with my bike in a drag. these were both on smooth roads. the bone stock kfx was clocked at 76 mph the same night.

 

In my opinion the Raptors handling is not as good as the Z 400.

 

I have the best of both worlds, but I have to say that my 400EX takes one hell of a beating and has never failed me yet. I realize it might not be faster than the raptor/400(suz/kawa), but it's one reliable machine, plus my girlfriend finds it easy to ride.

 

whats up extreme rider, i have an 03 z400. it is a sweet bike handles good and has plenty of power for the hills and the wheelies. i ride with a guy who has a 400 ex and in the trails which is were i mostly ride this is a good match, i mean you can only go so fast in the woods. I got the z because of looks, reviews on this forum, and my past experiences with suzuki products. if you are buying new maybe you should get the z because it is the new bike out, and having reverse and liquid cooling are a nice bonus. i don't use the reverse all the time but if i ever needed it i know that it is theredon't know much about raptors or the new yamaha so i can't help you there but i hope this helps you out some.
