Rejetting a Rancher
#1
Got a question for you guys in the know. Do I have to remove the carb off my rancher to rejet or after I remove the plastic and airbox can I loosen the carb and turn it enough to get the float bowl off or do I have to remove the entire carb ? The reason we are wondering is that we are heading into the mountains to ride and might just wait to rejet only if needed . Thanks in advance

Was told by the dealer service department jetting should not be necessary. They have people that go out and have no problems if it does need anything, should just be able to adjust the oxygen intake screw

just got back from CO and riding up to 10,000 feet or so and did not need to rejet. I was not racing so high performance wasn't a big issue but was navigating some sticky trails and all riding was above 8000 feet. It performed plenty well for me though I'm only walking around about 150#. I live and purchased the rancher 4x4 es at about 500 feet above sea level.
Was relieved.
Was relieved.
