concerning sprockets
I'm wondering if a 300ex will have enough power to pull itself if I change the stock sprocket and put a sprocket in with 2 more teeth...or even 3. What about 5 more? Is it worth it to even put a sprocket in with less teeth than stock so the bike will feel more sporty?

If you are talking about the rear sprocket, adding teeth will make the bike slower but give more torque. My experience with the 300 is that it was too low geared to begin with. With that said i would try going to a smaller rear sprocket by one or two teeth or moving to a 14 tooth front.

The only reason I want to change the sprockets is that I can have a little more speed. My friend has a Warrior and I know I won't have as much torque as him, but I'd want to beat him in the long run. I'll put a smaller sprocket on the back and go up one tooth on the front. Eventually maybe I can modify the 300ex and give it more horsepower so I can even beat him on take off.
