Actually yamaha, honda, everyone is a follower then. People have been puting yzf engine in quad frames for years. So yamaha followed them, etc.

But anyway this thread sucks. The maker of this thread has " honda big ***** envy" and needs help to get over it.

I call it progress. Now lets all hold hands and sing songs.

Lets do talk about relibility.

Fact : honda is better than yamaha in reliability.

Your little big bear sentence proves nothing. For your one big bear there are thousands older hondas beat up on more that still run better.

I love Honda but the other quads are just as reliable (except for Polaris). The reason you see more Hondas is because more were sold in the first place. Its just statitics.

i like that except for polaris..heheheheee....but u c they sold more in the first place for a reason....why because they were the first to the market with an atv and thus had a reputation and more sold, the reliability was just common for sum'n made in japan(face it fellows, c story that follows), and they all are on a pretty even scale every make has its lemons... so i have to agree....but have u ever seen a kawi or yami leafblower or weed eater or car they do learn from from there other lines so honda just has more resources for R&D

this story was told to me by an old man who used to work for timex and was pretty high up on the food chain....but he said timex USA manufactured what they were calling the "worlds smallest drill bit" ...it was so small it needed a microscope to see the twist and cutting tip.....they sent it to main headquarters timex japan......they received them back in less than a week....they couldn't figure out why, so they went under the microscope for examination....well the people in japan had drilled a hole thru their "world's smallest drill bit" and sent it back....just to make a point as to how far ahead...or behind we were....6 of 1 ..half dozen of the other
