Default Need rubicon help-speed sensor fault

Did test and it showed error code 2 -speed sensor fault. Should we change the sensor, or could there be another problem. My buddy cleaned his rubicon at a car wash right before this problem started. I didn't know if there was a way to tell if the sensor is bad, or if there was a problem in the wiring or plugs.

Clean the connector good, reset computer, and ride it. If it sets it again, I would probably replace the sensor. I think there are more problems caused by high pressure washing than going through the mud and water cause. Most connectors are quite waterproof, but they do have a hard time keeping out several hundred pounds of pressure.

If you know someone with scope-meter, they could check the waveform produced by the speed sensor and then you would know for sure. Most all drivability shops have these meters.
