is a honda rancher worth getting?

I bought my 2002 Rancher last year and the guy who I bought it from babied the thing so much he practically gave it a bath after ever ride and changed the oil every month. The day I got it I took it to his sons house (whom I am good friends with) and burried it a few times in the mud. And his dad almost cried when he seen it. lol.
I have gone with a 2" lift Maxxis Mudbug tires 26x12x10 front 27x12x12 on rear warn 2500# winch cycle country plow and fairleds and a bruised and battered warn plow.
I have also in the past week was plowing, standing up mind you I do not recomend this, and hit a curb at about 10 or 15 mph. My cheek bone hit the rocker switch for the winch and gave me a black eye. But the Racher still runs and drives like new. No bent frame. got lucky on that one.
I have also had it roll over 2 times once when driving in a swamp and the other getting pulled from the mud.

Count me in as another Rancher fan, ('05 ES). They are not too much and not too little. They are a very capable machine that is easy to operate, reliable and well made. First gear is pleanty low enough for anything I may wish to do with it!

"if it were any lower, it would be reverse"
PRETTY FUNNY
Ours has been great, only 1300 miles and not a single proble.
"They are not too much and not too little." Great description.
On VERY tough trails, or "technical" I would much rather ride our Rancher than our Rubicon.
Great ATV.
