Default How to break in a new 4-wheeler?

I picked my new 350 rancher 2wd yesterday. And I was wondering what's the best way to break it in.

best thing to do is check out the owners manual. it will give you the hours/miles considered to be a break in period, how to ride, what to do/not do and when to chenge the fluids.

I rode my Z250 like I stole it when I first got it and haven't had any problems. One of my friends also has a Z250 and he broke it in by taking it easy and I out accelerate him and he weighs a little bit less than me. I think the way that I broke mine in has a lot to do with that. Check out Break in Secrets

When you first get it ride it around till you warm it up then hammer it,Best way to get the piston rings to contrast, then after a day of riding go home flush the oil and filter. Change the oil as much as posible when you first get it all kinds of shat gets in you engine from the factory and thats the only way for it to come out. Have Fun.
