Default How far will a tank of gas go?

OK, I know there is now completely accurate answer - but considering my 400EX is basically stock and I was doing average trail riding without any crazy hills or deep mud...... how far should I get on a full tank of gas?

Wanting to head out this weekend and go riding all day - but don't want to get stuck pushing it back.

Any thoughts or experiences?

Racing I get about 12 mpg. Trail riding I get 20-25 mpg. It all depends on you riding style. Stock tank is about 50+ miles of trail riding.

I havent really thought and figured out how far a tank of gas will go on my '03 400ex. But i do know that i dont get alot of miles per gallon. I wouldnt consider my type of riding to be racing bt i do kick it up high rpms sometimes. Mostly i would say about mid to high rpms is where i tend to stay in the rpm range and i dont get that much mpg. But i dont know its up to your riding style.

I have a 416 kit in my 400EX, and I can go about 45 miles of trail riding. Don't ask how I found that out.
