Tap and drill grease fittings in ball joints?

Can u drill and tap grease fittings onto the ball joints of a 300ex or once they are dry you have to replace them?

i got a needle and injected 90w oil/grease into them through the rubber thing.

What kind of needle are you using, i cant find anything small enough. Where can u get them? thanks

i used a 10gauge needle that i got from my sis~in~law that she got for me from the hospitol.
