And if you are looking for electric start or reverse, you'd better look elsewhere. After some weekend snooping I was able to uncover this, nothing on the aluminum frame though. It also appears that one of the aftermarket suspension manufacturers already has one, but I don't want to ROLL over on anyone.
The electric start will be an accessory kit, or they may make an EX version for the people who want it.
I don't even know why there is any question as to weather the 450 has a kick starter. The EX acronym was added after the non-elec. start 250X became the 300EX. Then there was the 400EX and now the 450R!? If they ditch the starter, battery and run an aluminum frame, we're looking at 335lbs. (Just an estimate)

It better have electric start as an option at the very least. I'm a KTM dirt bike owner and let me tell you how many non e-start thumpers they sell. It's not about what's better for a motocross quad, it's about selling the most quads, like it or not. After the first year, Honda could go in two directions; A mx only quad and a cross country quad. Cannondale did it and Yamaha, KTM and Honda [in 04-05] so it with their bikes. Please, no "that's why Cannondale went out of biz" comments.
JayceKarl10,
Don't want to ROLL on anyone, lol but there is another. Month's ago another builder [I won't mention their name] had a mule cloaked in 400ex plastic. I won't say where they are located but for those of you who think it's Texas, you're wrong. It's definitely not in the LONE STAR state.
