You better spend your money right. I dont know how much bead locks cost but if you end up not getting them, dont just buy any rim. I just bought a set of aluminum white brothers/douglas wheels about 4 months ago and i already need new ones. I have to constantly keep hammering the edges(lips) back into place so i dont loose air.

I bought some OMF Race Rims ($119 each), they have the reinforcement ring on the outside, as well as the inside. Not only do they look extremely cool, I've been hard on them, and they don't have a ding or scratch on them.

I go a pair of douglas beadlock, they look cool and are strong as hell. Got them on ebay for $205 delivered (new front wheels).
Before these I had douglas .190 wheels and I was getting about 3-4 bends per ride.

hey thanx. i'm probly gonna ask for rims for christmas or my b-day. i mostly ride dunes, but i wanna get into dirt riding more. i bent some ITP rims (jus the standard ones, i don't know what strenght aluminum) learning to ride on the left 2 wheels only. now the left front wheel wobbles a lil bit cuz the rim is bent. when u guys say that the rim is X amount of dollars a peice, u mean that it's like 200 bucks for 1 rim right? as in it would cost me 800 bucks for 4 rims? that's a lot more expensive than i thought it would be. thanx for the advice.

I have the ITP .190 rims (no rolled edges) and those things bend extremely easy....If you are gonna be hard on them then get something good from the start for sure.
