What are you smoking anyways HA2????? 350 is 350, they weigh the same, until you remove the YFZ kicker, then the YFZ has a 15lb advantage. Why don'y you send some of whatever your smoking this way, maybe it will relieve our dissapointment
most of you were also sure that Honda was never going to come out with this quad and this was all a hoax. im sorry if it sounds like i dont hold too much water in everyones opinion here, maybe it's the lack of maturity im witnessing.

steve - i wont except "quite a bit" as proof of anything and them ask for it back. im not doubting the yfz has alluminum parts, but please practice what you preach.

no problem. Read here. You will also notice aluminum subframe on the yfz

""Rear suspension system is a YZ linkage-type that features fully adjustable Showa shock with 10.1" of travel and separate adjusters for preload, rebound and compression damping.

Ultra-rigid cast aluminum swingarm reduces weight and ensures optimal, flex-free suspension action.

Numerous aluminum components—including the swingarm, upper A-arms, oil tank and wheels —help keep overall dry weight down to a paltry 350 pounds, making this the lightest weight 4-stroke sport ATV ever.

Lightweight front and rear master cylinders, combined with twin 160mm front discs with twin-piston calipers and single 200mm rear disc, deliver incredible stopping power with progressive control and feel.

Ultra-compact, race-bred chassis design creates a short 50.4" wheelbase and low center of gravity to create a super-tight turning radius.

Removable aluminum die-cast rear subframe removes easily for maintenance.

Long, low and narrow YZ-style seat is only 31.5" high which enhances the low center of gravity for quick, balanced steering and optimal rider movement.

High-performance 21 x 7R-10 front and 20 x 10R-9 rear Dunlop radials, designed specifically for the YFZ450, deliver superb, class-leading traction.

Lightweight aluminum wheels help enhance suspension performance by reducing unsprung weight. ""

im not tryings to ruin the honda guys day. I am just extremely dissapointed in honda.

correct. So please get over the thought that honda lied and acctually weighs less the 350. Honda does not have a weight advantage on this one.

i dont know too much about them. the little i do know, is they are cheap, fast and reliable as you can get for a semi quick street car. im a big fan of a the 1st gen DSM's and obviously it shines over into the 2nd gens great looks. from what i know, the dealer offered a revised version of the 2nd gen block that eliminated the crankwalk problems.
