thanks for clearing that up and that site was more than informative.

• One-piece cast aluminum swingarm for light weight, maximum strength and durability.

About the swingarms. Don't worry, every racer and their mother will put an aftermartket steel one on (both models) for some damn reason.

Just going to have to wait til Jan. Then i don't even want to see it compared to the YFZ until somebody buys the HRC kit that includes a cam, carb., and a non restrictive end cap. Oh and they are offering the kit for $295 MSRP, just hope that carb is a fcr. Then it should be interesting.

I'm buying one of the two. They both have their strong points. I'm really glad honda put on that third piston ring!

Well looks like i won't be buying a new quad for at least a year....

Go weigh your yfz guys I think you will be surprised to see what a stock dry weight is one. Hint the mfrs. claim is optimistic!

Man, that Honda is UGLY!!! I would go with the Yamy just for looks. Both quads are gonna rip!!

I am really disapointed in what Honda did.. It should have been better. Even though its not out I am disapointed.

I Put my yfz on our shipping scale earlier this week and this is what i came up with ..

the bike weighed in at : 362lbs with the fuel tank empty and 377lbs Full.

At the time i weighed it i had the headlights removed and the only mod that claimed to save weight was the full hmf exhaust.

i used a digital shipping scale that rounds the weight to the next pound so if the bike weighed 361.1lbs the scale reads 362 but other than that it is very accurate
