The unicam saves weight.

 

i laugh my as* off at you guys who think this crf motor isnt capable of more power then the yfz. You are all in for a big suprise soon enough. You yamaha guys better hope the 450r suspension/chassis setup isnt up to par because your not going to be able to pick apart this motor.

You can complain all you want with a stock bike. The real potential will come alive on the race track. Seems the yami guys are more worried about this bike then the honda guys!

For you guys complaining about the compression. Perhaps they dropped the compression so grandma and grandpa can still kick over the machine. If you want high comp. the piston is already being sold!

 

Yamaha guys bouht there new quad too soon. they can say what they want but im conviced this quad will beat it.

 

I hope you're right! I was very tempted to buy the yfz when it came out but I decided to wait for honda. when the 05 models come out we will see if yamaha upps there displacement to 450 and then we can truely compare which quad is faster, handles better, climbs hills ect

 

i guess we will find out in jan. which is faster!
