Rough rider think about what you're saying, why would you release an inferior product to be outsold and outperformed?? It wasn't a machine reliability issue, it was all about performance and features. Of course Honda will not come out and openly admit the YFZ450 was better and they delayed it's production b/c of a superior product from a competitor.

i can see them adding a couple thing to the engine that the old owners could upgrade easy.
so whats the big deal with buying this year?

 

No BS, just saying I would kick myself if I bought a yfz this year and then next year it was bumped up 11 cc's.
