now that you mention it... how much would it take to swap a enginge in it? would i haev to change trannys if its a high power enginge like a 400ex enginge or z400... and what else what i have to change and any clue on how much that would take?

probably would have to change trannys and it would end up costing a ton, but who knows, wouldn't hurt to check into it. That 250r that you mentioned sounds like a good deal. I would try and pick that up if I were you. You wouldn't beat banshees in a straight line but you would own them in all other aspects, reliability, handling, overall fun ect. Now if you mod that thing right you can beat banshees and that's something I don't think will ever happen on the 300ex

ya i think i might pick up a 250r instead of soemthing like a raptor or a shee... theres a modded 250r LT for 3300 thats dynoing over 40 HP, and a few other 250r's for aroudn 3k in oregon
