What do you think it will top out at with top speed gearing (while still mainting decent acceleration)? I heard the ds can do 85 easy with gearing changes, i will have to say about 82?

 

isn't there a limit for manufacturers that it can only go 75?

 

crackhead how did you make your icon? ive been trying to make my own icon but none of the programs on my computer will downsize my pictures to 60 pixels

 

I used adobe photoshop -- a little expencive for what you want it to do, but it works.

 

yeah..an old handshake agreement between the manufactures that no machine will do more then 75mph from the factory..but that can eaisly be changed with gearing/tire mods..plus when you start modding the motor..watch out! thats why most of todays top quads, raptor, shee, pred, dales, DS650s, you name it..all run close up top...

 

go to paint then tools then sketch/skew and you can reduce the size from there. The stock tires on the 450 look small for being 20's.

I can't wait to get my 450... the 86 250r need a little bro. I wonder if the wiseco, 500cc big bore kit, will work? With the longer stroke of the quad you will get 520cc's, of 4 stroke power! With 12.5:1 comp, that will push some tall gearing, 90-100mph here I come!
