Default rear drum brakes locked up.....

The 2000 Foreman 400 that im working on has been sitting outside for over a year, the rear drum brake locks up when ever you use it, like putting it in reverse. Then I have to get off, go behind the bike and pull the lever back to free it. Ive oiled everything in site. What do I have to do to make this stop? Thanks in advance for any advice on this.

Did you lube the brake cable completley and make sure it slides freely? If that is not the problem then it
sounds like water got past the seals and corroded the internals. You will probably will have to take the assembly apart and clean everything up. The seals will probably have to be replaced at a minimum, or it will happen again.

Thats my $.02
